What are your kids saying at school?.......
During a unit on current affairs our preschool and school age classrooms recently held a discussion surrounding our Armed Forces and our current role overseas. This discussion quickly became very personal to each class of children - they all seem to know someone who is serving in Iraq or the surrounding areas. The objective was to write a card or letter to someone who is serving our country overseas to be forwarded to 'Jamies For G.I.'s' and distributed to our troops. These are some of the responses -
